Arsenal ‘Agree £17.7m Deal To Sign Yann M’Vila’

Arsenal have finally agreed a deal to sign Rennes midfielder Yann M’Vila according to several sources.

Arsene Wenger has been after the defensive midfielder for well over a year now and failed with a last minute bid on deadline day last summer. M’Vila didn’t want to jeopardize his Euro 2012 spot so decided to remain in Ligue 1 for another year, but according to many of the mainstream media including the Daily Mail, talkSPORT, etc, the 22-year-old will now be on his way to the Emirates this summer.

It’s believed Arsenal have agreed a deal thought to be in the region of £17.7m, which would be a record signing for the Gunners, and the Frenchman will sign a four-year contract worth around 70k per week.

It’s understood that the signing will be officially announced shortly after the weekend, should Arsenal secure Champions League football next season.
