The title is misleading, it’s not a quote at all. He said something different: that we don’t depend on the players we’ll get through transfers. That’s perfectly understandable – you don’t want to put too much pressure on new signings or show the sellers you’re open to paying high.
As for the “90%” – 90% of footballers are crap. That’s the problem.
